Frequently Asked Questions

Procurement-friendly answers to common questions.

Starting Service

Do you provide residential cleaning?
Anderson Cleaning is a B2B commercial provider. Our systems, training, and equipment are designed for commercial infrastructure.
What's the minimum to get started?
We build consistent cleaning systems for facilities that need reliable ongoing support. You start with either Day Porter or Recurring Janitorial to establish the baseline.
How do specialty deep cleans fit into service?
Specialty services (deep cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and post-construction final cleaning) are available as part of an ongoing service program.

Frequency & Scheduling

Why is there a 3-day minimum?
Consistency is the product. A 3+ day/week schedule allows us to maintain your standard, catch issues early, and build the kind of accountability that one-off or weekly visits simply can't provide. For multi-site accounts, we can discuss frequency distribution by agreement.
What times do you clean?
Most clients prefer after-hours service (evenings or early mornings) to minimize disruption. Day Porter services operate during business hours. We build schedules around your operations—not the other way around.
Can we adjust the schedule seasonally?
Schedule-change terms are defined in the service agreement. Your documented account contact can review holidays, tenant turnover, and seasonal needs with reasonable notice.

Specialty Services

How do I unlock floor care or carpet cleaning?
Specialty services are available as part of an ongoing service program. Start with Day Porter or Recurring Janitorial to establish the baseline, then coordinate floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, emergency response, and supply management as needed.
What's included in emergency response?
Urgent cleaning support is available as part of an ongoing service program after the incident scope, safe access, staffing, and travel distance are reviewed. We do not provide structural restoration, mold remediation, biohazard remediation, hazardous-waste removal, or work outside the agreed incident scope.
Do you handle supply management?
Yes—as part of an ongoing service program. We track consumables (paper, soap, liners), monitor inventory, and restock on schedule. This is an add-on to your recurring service plan, not a standalone service.

Staffing & Vetted Partners

Do you use subcontractors?
We operate primarily with our own vetted, trained teams. For specialized trades or high-volume surges, we may deploy managed partners who adhere to our strict SOPs, insurance requirements, and supervision protocols.
Are your staff background checked?
Screening, badging, training, and access requirements are documented for each assignment. Ask for the current screening policy and the requirements proposed for your facility.
Who is my point of contact?
Your proposal identifies the supervision model, primary contact, and escalation path for your facility. Regional leadership remains available through the contact structure agreed during contracting.

Sanitization Boundaries

Do you do disinfection services?
Yes—routine commercial sanitization is integrated into our recurring service. We focus on high-touch surfaces and common areas. We use EPA-registered products appropriate for commercial environments.
Do you handle biohazard or trauma cleanup?
No. We do not perform biohazard remediation, trauma/crime scene cleanup, infectious disease decontamination, or hazardous material handling. If you need those services, we can recommend licensed specialists.
What about medical facility cleaning?
We serve medical offices, outpatient clinics, behavioral-health facilities, and healthcare administrative spaces.

Proposals & Onboarding

How do I request a proposal?
Submit a request through our proposal form, email, or phone. We'll schedule a site walkthrough to assess your space, then deliver a scope document with transparent pricing. No pressure, no gimmicks.
What does commercial cleaning cost?
Pricing depends on facility size, service frequency, and scope. We provide customized quotes after a site walkthrough. Request a proposal for accurate pricing tailored to your specific facility.
Are you insured?
Certificates of insurance and workers’ compensation documentation are available during contracting. Coverage limits and scope-specific requirements are reviewed directly with qualified clients.
How does billing work?
We invoice monthly with net-15 or net-30 terms for established accounts. Invoices are detailed and can be separated by department or building for easier accounting.
Do you have references?
Yes. We're happy to provide references from current clients in your industry and region. Contact us to request reference information.

Policies & Security

Do you offer green/eco-friendly cleaning?
Yes. We use EPA-registered products and can implement green cleaning protocols upon request. Ask about our environmentally-preferable product options.
What happens if I'm not satisfied?
Use the contact and escalation path documented for your account. We’ll record the concern, assess it with the responsible supervisor, and coordinate the agreed corrective action with your team.
What's your cancellation policy?
Standard agreements require 30 days written notice for cancellation. Early termination fees may apply depending on contract terms.
How do you handle security and key access?
We follow strict key control protocols. Keys are signed in/out, stored securely, and tracked. For facilities with alarm systems, we coordinate access codes with your security provider.
What areas do you service?
We serve approved locations in Western Massachusetts. In Northern Connecticut, our listed towns are Enfield, Suffield, Somers, Windsor Locks, and East Windsor; nearby communities are reviewed individually for route fit.
